Microstructural and electrochemical properties of impregnated La0.4Sr0.6Ti0.8Mn0.2O3±d into a partially removed Ni SOFC anode substrate

The microstructural and electrochemical properties of anodes obtained by impregnation the La 0.4 Sr 0.6 Ti 0.8 Mn 0.2 O 3±d (LSTM) oxide system into two types anode substrates such as Ni/ 8YSZ substrate (Ni (E)/ 8YSZ) partially Ni removed (Ni(R)/8YSZ) were investigated in order to apply them material for solid fuel cells. All samples with LSTM impregnated on (R)/ show higher electrical conductivity values than those unimpregnated under dry H 2 condition. highest 2041.2, 1877.4, 1764.3 S/cm at 700, 800 900 °C can be achieved 3 wt% 8YSZ. From XPS analysis, existence a metal peak surface was only measured (3 wt%)-Ni sample, metallic titanium improve catalytic reaction. showed then all temperature ranges case CH 4 supply. Finally, stably maintained even when exposed condition long time (100 h). • Two Ni(E)/8YSZ Ni(R)/8YSZ fabricated. wt%)-Ni(R)/ values. led improved conductivity.
